Estrella Morente appreciates the scent of summer that returns to the stage
San Roque (Cádiz), Jun 12 (EFE) .- The cantaora Estrella Morente today thanked the "aroma of summer" that brings life back to the stage and to the encounter of flamenco with the public.
Estrella Morente thanked this meeting in the concert that she has offered tonight to inaugurate the "Trocadero Flamenco Festival", one of the appointments with which the musical activity that has been so restricted due to the coronavirus pandemic begins this summer.
In an open-air concert, in the "Trocadero" hotel complex in the exclusive area of Sotogrande, in San Roque (Cádiz), the cantaora, accompanied by two guitarists, two percussionists and three clappers and choristers, enjoyed one of the appointments with which this summer, after the restrictions imposed by the pandemic, it resumes activity on the stage.
He has not forgotten his native Granada, his "bedside poet", Federico García Lorca; and even the memory of his grandmother or artists such as Lola Flores, in this concert with which flamenco is present in such exclusive areas as Sotogrande.
Diego El Cigala and Remedios Amaya are among the artists who will also participate in the "Trocadero Flamenco Festival", a new series of concerts that will host, by the sea, the San Roque town of Cádiz until the end of August.
The Trocadero Sotogrande hotel complex is the setting for this cycle of twelve concerts that aims to reactivate the enjoyment of live flamenco music and dance.
The Trocadero Sotogrande space has been prepared to receive a reduced audience of 200 and 400 people at each concert, to guarantee the security measures implemented to face the coronavirus pandemic.
