The young Asturian filmmaker Elisa Cepedal is the protagonist of the prologue of the 18th Exhibition of Ibero-American Cinema, Ibértigo. Cepedal will present this Monday, October 5, at 7:00 p.m., at the Casa de Colón, his first feature film Work or to whom the world belongs, a look at the loss of class consciousness in the Spanish mining basin, which was awarded the Special Jury Prize at the Gijón Film Festival.
After the screening of the film, Cepedal will hold a discussion with the public. The event, organized by the Vertigo Film Association, in collaboration with the Casa de Colón, is free. The online places are already sold out, although there is a percentage destined for in-person registration that must be done at the entrance of the museum itself.
