Eleven ULPGC scientists among the most cited in the world in the Stanford Ranking of World Scientists

Eleven ULPGC scientists are among the world's most cited scientists in the Ranking of World Scientists prepared by the Stanford University (USA).
The ULPGC scientists featured in this study are Marisol Izquierdo, José A. López Calbet, Almudena Sánchez Villegas, Daniel Montero, José A Carta, María José Caballero, José I. Castañón, Anastasio Argüello, Antonio Fernández, Luis Álvarez León and Juan Ortega. Along with them, there are also two external scientists collaborating with ULPGC projects: Paul Knipschild and Juan C. Carracedo.
Further, In the 2% of the most cited scientists in the world, two of the ULPGC researchers are included, specifically José A. Calbet (Physical Education) and Marisol Izquierdo (Aquaculture).
