Eleven members of the UME in La Palma test positive for Covid-19

Eleven members of the Military Emergency Unit (UME) have tested positive for coronavirus on the island of La Palma and, according to Army sources, all have been quarantined for a week in the El Fuerte barracks. These same sources have indicated that these people are vaccinated and are asymptomatic.

These affected military They were negative in the antigen test that was done before moving from the Peninsula, and positive in the test that they performed on La Palma.

After this positive they were transferred to the general hospital of La Palma, where they tested positive for the PCR test, which confirmed the contagion, while the rest of the members of the UME on the island have tested negative.

Members of the Military Emergency Unit have moved to La Palma on the occasion of the volcanic eruption which began on September 19.
