Olga Cerpa and Mestisay will soon present a Dluxe edition of Lignum vitae in physical format designed by his friends at Cactus, multi-award winning Colombian graphic designers with whom they have worked in the past. To include a new song in this special edition they have recorded a version of the popular Peruvian Creole song my mother's rosarypopularized in Spain by María Dolores Pradera and authored by Mario Cavagnaro.
This sound recording will be accompanied by a video, self-produced by the island combo, in which the popular Canarian drag queen Pedro Daktari, a friend of the island singer, has collaborated as an actor. The transformists Vanessa Artiles, Sofía Da Silva and Luciana Sánchez also participate in it together with the dancer Fran Santana.
This video production -which, due to its content, has become an original tribute to diversity-, has been artistically directed by Israel Reyes together with his Clapso Producciones team. The realization has corresponded to the prestigious Gran Canarian videographer Gino Maccanti.
The concert, with the participation of the Municipal Symphonic Band of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, is scheduled to be held next Tuesday, March 1within the program of events of the popular capital winter festivals. Reyes himself, the event's artistic director, invited Olga to join the concert last November when the video was recorded, proposing to Mestisay that they make the video premiere coincide with the tribute to the popular Canarian drag queen.
It is now available on the official channel of Youtube of Olga Cerpa and Mestisaya channel that this month has reached nine million views and twenty thousand subscribers.
