Eight dead, four of them bikers, in accidents this weekend



Eight people have died, including a 3-year-old girl and four motorcyclists, and two have been seriously injured in several traffic accidents in different parts of the Spanish geography from 3 pm on Friday and until 8 pm on Saturday.

On Friday there were three accidents in which three people lost their lives, and this Saturday there have been five accidents with as many dead and two seriously injured, according to sources from the General Directorate of Traffic, Servei Català del Trànsit (SCT) Emergencies Madrid and 112 of the Community of Madrid.

The last one happened in Tarragona, where a father and his 3-year-old daughter have died this afternoon by frontally colliding two vehicles on the C-12, at the height of Xerta, in an accident in which a third occupant of the same tourism He has been seriously injured.

In La Rioja, a 21-year-old boy also died on Saturday in an accident on the N-232 in Rincon de Soto.

Three bikers died in Madrid, two of them today: a 23-year-old boy after crashing into a tree on the M-604 road in the Community of Madrid, and another young man of the same age who crashed into a car in San Plaza Juan de la Cruz of the capital.

This Saturday, a 31-year-old man was also seriously injured in the Community of Madrid after losing control of his motorcycle and crashing into a metal fence on the John Lennon Promenade (Getafe) at the height of the air base.

The third motorist killed in Madrid is a 45-year-old man who lost control of his motorcycle, on Friday, in a tunnel on the M-30 ring road.

On Friday, a fourth motorist died after being hit by a tourist on the A-7 motorway as it passes through the Guadassuar district, in the Valencian Community; and in Cantabria, a 25-year-old boy has died in an accident at kilometer 1.2 of CA-145 (between Heras and Gajano).
