Eat to The Beat returns with the most eclectic musical bet

The Eat to the Beat music festival returns to Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. As usual in this eclectic music event, Eat to the Beat brings together on this occasion some of the most surprising bands on the national and international scene, Tito Ramírez, Guadalupe Plata and Lehmanns Brothers, on November 26 and 27 and 11 December respectively, in the Jerónimo Saavedra room of the Alfredo Kraus Auditorium at 8.30 pm.

Eat to the Beat, a music cycle that is now in its fifth edition, is an event that aims to make known to the general public those national and international bands that usually have no place in the general programming of the islands, that is, to take out rock and pop-rock from the minority circuits to take them to the big concert halls. For this, he intersperses already consolidated groups such as Los Enemigos, Depedro or Xoel López with lesser-known groups. Eat to the Beat thus becomes an interesting mix of styles and music that move away from the commercial to take us by the hand of new sensations and surprising rhythms.

He is known as The Kink of Mambo, “the perverse of the mambo”, in fact, that is the title of his first album. And that is precisely what Tito Ramírez dedicates himself to with his music, to pervert genres such as mambo, Boogaloo or Cha Cha Chá, mixing them with styles such as Rhythm and Blues and Soul. The result is an irreverent artist who hides behind a mask and who has already become responsible for the songs that everyone wants to dance on the slopes of countries like Belgium or England. An overwhelming show, an enigmatic artist mix of James Brown and Pérez Prado and music that engages. This is the spectacular Eat to the Beat proposal for next November 26.
