DyJ requests that all the flags of Spain in police stations be flown at half-staff in honor of the “fallen” agents

This is requested in a letter, dated Wednesday, which has been sent to the minister, in which he congratulates him on the work of the Security Forces and Bodies, especially the National Police and the Civil Guard, which are “on the front line , along with other groups “, in the fight against Covid-19.

“They are once again demonstrating why they are the institutions most valued by the public,” says the association of victims of terrorism, for which reason it considers that the agents, whom it calls “guardian angels,” deserve recognition.

For this reason, it urges the Minister of the Interior to initiate the corresponding procedures with the Ministry of Defense so that all the flags of Spain that are in the police stations and headquarters of the Civil Guard, as well as in the buildings that are within its competence , wave at half mast in honor of the members of both Corps who have “fallen” due to the health crisis.

According to Dignity and Justice, Royal Decree 927/2015, of October 16, by which the use of the flag of Spain is granted to the National Police, grants powers to the Minister of the Interior to issue this order “during the period that determine in each case and taking into account the concurrent circumstances. “
