Enormous success of the capital club in the male and female category
CV San Roque Batán achieved the double in the Canary Islands Junior Volleyball Championship. This championship held at the Sports Center of the
Heidelberg School of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria was organized by
the Canarian Volleyball Federation And it was held this past weekend.
After the group matches, qualifying for the semifinals, with two victories, were held since Saturday,
the San Roque-Batán Volleyball Club stood in both finals and won the two championships (men's and women's) in the regional championships of the juvenile category, which after the previous championship, without an audience due to the pandemic, this time, with
a large public that filled the stands at all times.

female fry, stood in the grand final after winning the three group matches against Firgas, 2-0, Cuesta Piedra de Tenerife, 2-0, and Haris de Tenerife, 2-0. In the semi-final, they also beat Claret 2-0,
facing Haris de Tenerife in the final, whose outcome of the match ended with the final result of 2-0(25 - 15) and (25 - 12), in favor of the Gran Canaria team.
In the male juvenile category, the San Roque-Batán Volleyball Club team, after having beaten the Guía by 2-0 and Arona de Tenerife by 2-1 in the group phase, faced Elite Vóley de Tenerife in the semifinal, beating them by 2-0; and with the emotion of a final, on the last day between the two teams that were undefeated so far, CV San Roque-Batán and
Alter Cisneroswhere the winner of that match would conquer the champions trophy, San Roque-Batán finally prevailed after a very disputed match,
with the final result of 2-0(25 - 15) and (26 - 24).
These great successes are added to the title of Champion of the Canary Islands in the Children's Male category conquered the previous week in Puerto de la Cruz, Tenerife, where San Roque-Batán beat Cisneros in the final by a very close result of 3-2, with partials of 25-21, 18-25, 24-26, 25-18 and 15-11.
