Three referees of the Canarian Football Federation, two of them from the province of Las Palmas, have picked up their rosette in their international status during an event held by the National Committee in Madrid.
The Lanzarote Alejandro Hernández Hernández did it in the field soccer modality, while the Tenerife Marta Huerta de Aza did it in women's soccer. He could not go, for professional reasons, the Gran Canaria Raul González Francés, who occupies a place in the body of international referees of the beach specialty. The room mode is the only one in which the Canary Islands do not have international referees.

Seven referees debut in 2019 as internationals: José Luis Munuera Montero, Iñigo Prieto López de Cerain, Zulema González González, Rita Cabañero Mompó, Eliana Fernández González, Matilde Esteves-García Biajakue and Cristóbal Montoro Garrido.
