The chain of supermecados Dia has removed from its lines a batch of 24,576 cans of sardines in olive oil Preserved Dia brand, manufactured by Cofisa, before the possible defect of sterilization of some of these cans and only as a preventive measure, according to the company in a statement.

Specifically, the company explained that the affected lot is 2694L with expiration in July 2023, which was distributed in different establishments of the company in Spain and Portugal.
