Demand the COVID passport or restrict hours in bars again?
Given the increase in the incidence of the coronavirus, Health and communities are looking for measures to stop infections. While a new COVID traffic light is being debated, which will mean restrictions for hospitality, some communities are more supportive of make the COVID passport mandatory, which certifies that you have passed the disease or are vaccinated, to access certain services such as nightlife.
The Public Health Commission is debating a new proposal to guide the restrictions that recommend the closure of the hotel business at 11 p.m. and nightlife at 1 a.m. at a medium alert level. The option of the COVID passport to access bars and restaurants has been more questioned after the Superior Court of Justice overthrow the intention of Euskadi to demand it in the hospitality industry.
