Deactivated the anti-pollution protocol in Madrid after 6 days in force



The City Council of Madrid has deactivated for Monday the protocol for episodes of high pollution that has been in force for six consecutive days with the limitation of the speed of circulation to 70 kilometers per hour on the M-30 and on the access roads in the interior of the M-40.

In a press release, the Consistory reported that the protocol has been deactivated "by reducing the levels of pollution in the city."

Until Sunday, the day of Kings, continued for the sixth consecutive day in the scenario 1 of the protocol, which limits to 70 kilometers per hour the speed of movement on the M-30 and on the access roads inside the M- 40, in both directions.
