Daniel Yule wins an exciting race today at Kitzbühel, getting his fourth victory in the Slalom World Cup, the third this season after his victories at Adelboden and Madonna
The second place goes to Marco Schwarz (AUT), demonstrating today that he is 100% to compete with the best. The Austrian was very close to getting his first victory in the Slalom World Cup ending at 0.12s from Yule.
Third place goes to last season’s winner, Clement Noel. He finished +0.37 seconds from the Swiss skier. Despite a big mistake in the second race, Noel was able to achieve the podium, returning from the ninth position scored in the first race.
The young Norwegian talent Lucas Braathen was the surprise of the day. When Yule thought he had scored the best time in the first race, Braathen came with number 34 and took the lead with an advantage of +0.33 seconds over the Swiss. During the second race, the Norwegian born in 2000, could not maintain the leadership but closed in 4th position tied with Henrik Kristoffersen + 0.49 seconds behind Yule, a result that is the best of his career.
