The Ministry of Culture and Sports joins the celebration of World Poetry Day, which is celebrated this Saturday, March 21, for which he has prepared some specialized initiatives in the field of poetry that are part of the campaign #LaCulturaEnTuCasa, among which stands out the call that citizens make to hang on networks reading their favorite poems and that they share them through Instagram with the tags #Yomequedoencasa, #LaCulturaEnTuCasa and # DíadelaPoesía.
As reported in a statement, There will also be a Twitter thread, in which each citizen can make a verse about the previous one. and thus a collective poetry will be achieved, which is also added to another of the actions undertaken by the Ministry of Culture, through the General Directorate of Books and the Promotion of Reading, to celebrate World Poetry Day: making available of all the virtual visitors some video recordings of Spanish poets reading their poems in all the languages of the state.
In Spanish they will read: Julio Martínez Mesanza, Edgardo Dobry Lewin, Pablo López Carballo, Antonio Méndez Rubio, Esther Zarraluqui, Rosa Berbel, David Hernandez Sevillano, María Elena Higueruelo and Rodrigo Olay; Ángela Segovia, Carmen Camacho, Sofía Fernández Castañón and Vicente Luis Mora; while in Catalan they will: Antònia Vicens, María Sevilla; in Galician: Pilar Pallarés, Chus Pato, Ismael Ramos and in Basque: Juan Ramón Makuso, Leire Bilbao.
