Cs rejects "lessons" from the PP and sees "impossible" to flourish a motion of censure

The parliamentary spokesman for Citizens, Carlos Carrizosa, today rejected the "lessons" that the PP can give them to do opposition in Catalonia and has reminded the popular that "arithmetically it is impossible" to flourish a motion of censure against the Government of Quim Torra .

In statements to the media, Carrizosa has gone out of step with the appeals of the popular Citizens to raise a motion of censorship taking advantage of the fact that JxCat and ERC have lost the majority in the Parlament by not having appointed Carles Puigdemont, Jordi Sànchez, Jordi Turull and Josep Rull to a substitute who can vote for them.

"The PP does not quite understand that in the Parliament we need 68 votes to win a motion of censure," said Carrizosa, who has pointed out that not adding the votes of Citizens, the PSC, the PPC and even the commons would reach that bar of the absolute majority.

"Whatever arithmetically possible, we talk about it," said Carrizosa, who has instead warned the PP that "they are not the ones to give us lessons on political strategies", although he has given them "thanks" ironically for his "recommendations" .
