Citizens today criticized the budgetary agreement closed between the Government and Podemos by stating that it is "wet paper" because there is a lack of support to be able to approve the 2019 Budgets in Parliament and has considered that "the photo is missing Torra".
At a press conference in Congress, the parliamentary spokesman for Citizens' Economy, Toni Roldán, said that "they can talk about many things and write a letter to the Magi, but it has no value" and said that it is a question of budget agreement unfeasible, as is the current legislature.
Roldán has denied that they are going to square the numbers in the Budget that the President of the Government, Pedro Sánchez, intends to present in the Congress and has alluded to the fundamental support that he must get from ERC, the PNV or the PDeCAT.
"Sign a papelín in a dark room with Pablo Iglesias is very easy, the difficult thing is to square a majority and also the deficit objectives that Brussels marks", pointed Roldán, at the time that has indicated that his training has an "antagonistic" project to the Government and Podemos.
In this sense, he has urged the Executive to explain how they are going to finance all the items of expenditure contained in the agreement and has indicated that this budget reminds him more of the "Alternative budget of Podemos than a viable and sensible one".
"A Budget that comes with 5 or 6 tax increases, we do not agree, we have to spend better and not spend more," said Roldán.
