The Ministry of Education publishes the definitive list of applicants by courts for the selective process that offers 990 places in the Canary Islands
Ministry of Education, Universities, Culture and Sports of the Government of the Canary Islands has approved
definitive lists of people admitted by courts in opposition to
Body of Teachers and Teachers which will start on June 18 in the archipelago. In total they are
10,389 people admitted (compared to 186 excluded) who presented
13,618 requestsof which
13,413 were admitted (and 205 excluded). The difference is due to the fact that the same person could request up to two different specialties.
The lists of those who participate in the
disability booking shiftas well as the headquarters of the Court, the date, time and place of the beginning of the selective procedure and the beginning of the first test of the opposition phase, according to Education in a statement.
The tests will take place on
June 18 and will be carried out in centers of
Tenerife, Gran Canaria, Lanzarote, La Palma and Fuerteventura, but due to the high number of applicants in different specialties, and to guarantee their development, in some cases it has been decided to distribute the courts of the same specialty for the holding of the first examination among several centers. In these cases, the rest of the tests will be developed in a
center other than the one that appears in the list of people admitted and excluded.
The time intervals in which the applicants must appear at the venue of the Court corresponding to their specialty for their identification and access to the places where the tests will be held will depend on the expected start time and the letter with which the test begins. 9:00 a.m.from V to D, must be submitted to the
07:45 hours; from E to L, at
08:00 hoursand from M to U, to
08:15 hours. At
8:30 a.m. rules will be provided for the development of the tests and then the act of drawing the themes for the development of part B of the first test will take place.
In cases where the start of the exam is scheduled for
4:30 p.m. Applicants must report at 3:15 p.m. if the first letter of the surname begins between the letters V and D; at 3:30 p.m., from E to L, and at 3:45 p.m., from M to U.

The Canary Islands will offer 990 places in these oppositionswhich will be held by the traditional system.
By specialties, there will be 295 for Primary Education; 244 for Early Childhood Education; 154 for English, 127 for Special Education, Therapeutic Pedagogy; 50 from French; 48 of Physical Education; 36 Music; and 36 Hearing and Language.
