The "popular" senator has called "great democratic shame" that the chief executive does not go to the House to address this issue, and regretted that, according to him, Sanchez does not consider that this issue deserves his appearance in parliament.
"Thousands of immigrants continue to arrive on our shores and hundreds of them die in the attempt, but Sánchez does not consider that this issue deserves an appearance in the Senate, a great democratic shame," Cosidó wrote in a Twitter note collected by Europe. Press.
SÁNCHEZ, FAVORABLE TO DISCUSS ABOUT AUTONOMIES
This Tuesday, the President of the Government said that he will not attend the Senate to talk about his thesis, as the PP claims, although he did not mention whether he would go to debate on immigration in the case of being called to do so.
What Sanchez did say is that he intends to "prestige" the Senate as a territorial chamber by holding a Debate on the State of Autonomies 13 years after the last.
