Correos has announced that will automatically renew more than 7,700 temporary contracts that expired at the end of this month and that are necessary for customer service in offices, distribution and logistics.
The public operator has announced this measure in a statement in which it has highlighted that as "Public postal service provider throughout the State" it should remain operational only "with the strictly essential personnel" estimated at 13,409 employees.
The renewal of contracts, qualified by the company of "Exceptional measure" it was adopted after the meeting of the Central Employment Commission with union representatives that took place by videoconference.
