Coronavirus in the Canary Islands: Tenerife concentrates 61% of the cases in the Canary Islands – La Provincia

The Islands maintain the number of people infected with coronavirus with 481 accumulated cases of Covid-19, according to the data provided by the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Health of the Government of the Canary Islands.

Regarding deaths, 10 have been in elderly or elderly people and one in a woman in the 34-year-old range with previous pathology.

All cases of death, so far, have occurred in the elderly and / or with previous pathologies. In this sense, it should be noted that they have been 1 woman of 34 years; four women between 62 and 78 years old; a 77-year-old man; three women and three men over 80.

Regarding the distribution by islands, Tenerife has 293 accumulated cases; Gran Canaria, 135; La Palma, 21; Fuerteventura, 18; Lanzarote, 9; La Gomera, 3 and El Hierro, 2.
