The Civil Guard of the main posts of San Mateo, in Gran Canaria, and Morro Jable, in Fuerteventura, has arrested several people on April 6 and 10 for repeatedly violating the rules established by the coronavirus health alarm status.
Specifically, on April 6 Agents of the Civil Guard of the Main Post of San Mateo (Gran Canaria) They have arrested a man, 54 years old and a neighbor of Santa Brígida, which responds to the initials of J.A.H.S. for failing to comply up to four times with the house confinement ordered in this state of alarm.

Thus, after several warnings, he was denounced for the first time on March 27 by the Local Police, as reported by the Civil Guard in a press release.

However, at just three hours, specifically at 11.10 a.m. the same day, the Civil Guard surprised J.A.H.S. driving his vehicle, again stating that he had gone out to buy his medication at the pharmacy, and that he had called the Post to ask for permission, this statement was “false”, so he was immediately arrested for ignoring the above indications as the alleged author of a crime of disobedience.
Finally, the detainee, together with the measures taken, has been brought to justice by the corresponding guardian court in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria.

Finally, agents of the Civil Guard of the Rapid Intervention Group (GIR), in Fuerteventura, arrested a young man, 18 years old and a neighbor of La Oliva, in the early hours of April 11, as the alleged perpetrator of a crime of resistance and disobedience , when fleeing from the agents when they found him walking on the street in breach of the aforementioned health alarm.
In this sense, the agents met at 3:00 am in the morning, in the vicinity of the Corralejo health center, an 18-year-old young man who ran away in the presence of the agents despite being required to stop, finally being intercepted in the vicinity of Geranio street in that town, about 300 meters away.
In this case, the detainee, together with the measures taken, has been brought to justice by the corresponding judged as guard of Puerto del Rosario.
The Civil Guard of the Rapid Intervention Group (GIR) of Fuerteventura has administratively denounced also at dawn on April 11 two women of English nationality, tourists residing on the island of 43 and 27 years, for failing to comply with the movement limitation measures imposed in article 7 of Royal Decree 463/2020, March 14, which declared the state of health alarm.
