Canary Islands registers 36 deaths of people with coronavirus after the data count carried out at 8:00 p.m. by the Ministry of Health of the Canary Government. Nine more deaths occurred on Friday, which until now is the worst day of this crisis due to the high death toll. These nine deceased are added to the 27 registered in previous days and so far this week there have been 25 deads.

However, the nine deaths this Friday represent a rebound and the highest number of deaths in a single day to date.

Total, the Archipelago accumulates 1,025 cases infected by Covid-19 this Friday, which is 147 more than the 878 on Thursday. There was a new rebound after the moderation of the data on Thursday compared to the previous two days, which exceeded one hundred. The increase of Thursday with respect to Wednesday was 94 cases, while Wednesday over Tuesday increased by 127 cases, and 100 on Tuesday over Monday. These data together with the 76 of Monday on Sunday imply that there have been 544 coronavirus positives so far this week. In turn, there are 914 more cases than last Thursday, that is, in the last eight days.

This Friday at noon, with data from the Ministry, which handled 878 total infected cases, 61 of them hospitalized in ICUwere also counted 20 discharges.

Statistics from the Ministry of Health are closed between 20:00 and 21:00 the day before, and cases after that date are not included as officers until the close of the following day.
