The unforeseen with AstraZeneca have disrupted the vaccination strategy in Spain. First, the suspension of doses last week has generated distrust of the Anglo-Swedish drug, something that the Government wants to reverse with the message that it is "safe and effective." Health has not only resumed vaccination with this serum, but is going to start using it in people 55 to 65 years old, as was already done in part of Europe and some autonomous communities had requested. This movement alters the initial vaccination plans and, what worries the experts consulted the most, leaves a good part of the priority groups without a clear date on the horizon while the general population begins to be immunized.
