Collin Farrel to star in 'the Batman' spin-off on HBO Max
'The Batman', the new film adaptation of the DC hero that will star Robert Pattinson, will expand your universe not only on the big screen, but also with television series. As reported by 'Variety', in the new series of HBO Max the interpreter will reprise the sinister and vile villain and continue to narrate the story of Oswald Cobblepot while plans to take control of the criminal underworld of Gotham where he accumulates more and more power.
This archenemy of the masked crusader was previously portrayed by Danny De Vitto in 1991 in the second film installment of the character directed by Tim Burton. More recently, actor Tim Taylor was the one who took up the mantle of the character on the 'Gotham' series.
The project, which is still under development, It will also have the presence of the actor, with Reeves and Dylan Clark as producers and the screenwriter of the series, Lauren LeFranc. The Penguin series joins 'Gotham PD', the series starring Commissioner Gordon which is also in production for HBO Max.
