Coca Cola today presented its first energy drink, Coca Cola Energy, which will be on sale from next April. A new drink that adds to its portfolio, which recently added Appletizer, Roya Bliss and Honest among others. The multinational tries to seduce consumers between 18 and 35 years of age.
"Coca-Cola Energy includes ingredients of natural origin and a delicious and refreshing flavor to Coca-Cola," says Esther Morillas, Marketing Director of Coca-Cola Iberia. "We have maintained these two qualities as the essence of the recipe developed and we are proud to offer it to consumers under the Coca-Cola brand, inviting them to try a new and different energy drink, which has been designed to complement their busy lives."
This new drink is made with caffeine of natural origin, extract of guarana, vitamins B and without taurine. According to the company, It will also be available without sugar and without calories. Both modalities will be available in a 250ml can format, in large food and retail stores.
Coca Cola will not be able to offer samples of its new product, as a marketing exercise, near primary and secondary schools. In addition, you should not promote the consumption of the new beverage mixed with alcohol.
