Bologna coach Sinisa Mihajlovic has tested positive for coronavirus this Sunday after the test carried out on the first staff to return to work, although he is well and asymptomatic, at the beginning of his isolation.
“Mihajlovic, who returned to Bologna on Friday, was submitted to the coronavirus control test and tested positive. The technician is asymptomatic and will remain in quarantine for the next two weeks as required by the national health protocol, “the Serie A club announced in an official statement.
Mihajlovic, who renewed his contract this summer until 2023, battled last year against leukemia, for which he had to lose several games. The Serbian received a bone marrow transplant in November and, although he himself acknowledged that the worst should be over by now, he is still under medical supervision.
