Cloudy skies for this Sunday – La Provincia


The weather forecast for this Sunday, April 26, 2020, indicates that in the north of Gran Canaria there will be a predominance of cloudy skies in the first half of the day without ruling out any light and scattered rain, tending to cloudy intervals in the afternoon.

In addition, in interior areas and medians oriented to the southeast, cloudy intervals with cloudiness of evolution in the afternoon that could leave some occasional shower; while in the rest of the areas, intervals of medium and high clouds with wide clear gaps in the central hours.

In the case of the islands of Lanzarote and Fuerteventura there will be cloudy intervals tending to little cloudy in the afternoon except in inland and eastern areas, where some light and scattered rain is not ruled out, as reported by the State Meteorological Agency (Aemet) .

As for temperatures, the minimum will be little changed and the maximum unchanged or slightly rising; being in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria between 22 degrees maximum and 17 degrees minimum.

Finally, the wind will be of a loose northern component, more intense on the east and northwest slopes during the early morning, with breezes on the coasts.

In the province of Santa Cruz de Tenerife the forecasts indicate that in the north and northeast there will be a predominance of cloudy skies in the first half of the day without ruling out any light and scattered rain, tending to cloudy intervals in the afternoon.

Also, in interior areas and medians oriented to the east and southeast, cloudy intervals with cloudiness of evolution in the afternoon that might leave an occasional shower; and in the rest of the areas there will be intervals of medium and high clouds, as reported by the State Meteorological Agency (Aemet).

Temperatures will undergo little change and thermometers will range from 23 degrees high in Tenerife to 13 degrees low on the island of El Hierro.

The wind will blow from a loose north component, more intense in the northwest and southeast ends during the early morning, with breezes on the coasts. At high central peaks, a northwest wind that will turn west in the afternoon.
