Chris Froome, ready to reappear after his injury

The Briton will return to the competition in the Tour of the Emirates
Chris Froome returns to the competition next weekend, in the Tour of the Arab Emirates. The Briton suffered a femur fracture in June last year, when he trained at the Dauphiné before participating in a time trial.
"For me it's like a second chanced ”, says the four-time Tour winner. “During these months I have only thought about competing again. It will be a great relief for me to be back in the squad"he warns.
Froome, who in addition to the femur suffered several fractures, including one elbow, ensures that its form is far from being what it had in the Dauphiné. "It will take me a while to return to that level," he acknowledges. "I still have to work the force on the injured leg," he says.
Since he fell, Froome has only participated in the Saitama Exhibition Criterium in Japan, which closed last season. Although his participation was not much beyond riding the bike.
