Carlos Sainz has experienced a hopeful start in the
GP China to mark this Friday the sixth best time in the first day of free practice, where the leader of the championship, Valtteri Bottas, has started marking territory (1: 34.141).

F1, recorded the fastest lap in the third and final session of free practice (1'32.830), ahead of the German Sebastian Vettel, who was four tenths of a second behind. Carlos Sainz was eighth.
