China and Tesla announcements show crypto volatility that worries supervisors

The explosion of cryptocurrencies has finally arrived in 2021. The asset that is usually taken as a reference, Bitcoin, has not stopped growing since the beginning of the year and has doubled in value in the first weeks of this course. However, victim of the volatility and speculation that have boosted these assets, in a single month it has lost almost half of its value. Elon Musk, founder of Tesla, and the new restrictions in China have caused their value to plummet, confirming the warnings about investment risks in these assets that different supervisors have launched, also in Spain.
