-No anesthesia, no na.

-So, pim, pam.

This is how these three beasts put the icing on the head after recording "Romesco" in Sol de Sants. Without disheveled.

This is an exclusive preview for El País and The Furious Sessions of what will be his next album that will be released in March 2019. A work with 8 original songs from this fantastic tandem.

Chicuelo and Mezquida make music with capital letters beyond the labels. If Michel Camilo and Tomatito opened the way years ago in that magical conversation between the piano and the flamenco guitar; Mezquida and Chicuelo take the witness to bring that combination that fascinated half the world, a step beyond.

Mezquida and Chicuelo (accompanied as they are lately doing by Paco de Mode) do it all, but what really matters is how they do it.

Chicuelo is one of the most important flamenco guitarists in the current scene. The Catalan has shared stage and recorded with musicians such as Chano Domínguez, Serrat, Tomatito, Enrique Morente, José Mercé or El Cigala. In addition to being an instrumentalist, he also stands out in the field of composition, in fact in 2013 he received a Goya for "I can not find you", the theme he composed for the film "Snow White".

Mezquida is an all-terrain piano. Despite his youth he has already proven to be among the best instrumentalists in our country. The same plays romantic or classical repertoire; like popular music, flamenco or jazz.

Hence also the heterogeneous of his discography. As soon as we put an ear to the latest work of the Menorcan, we will be able to find collaborations with the world of flamenco like the one we are playing today, first line jazz with the trio M.A.C. (Mezquida, Aurignac and Prats), the hand in hand with Silvia Pérez Cruz or totally independent works like the exquisite duo with the German Juliane Heinemann.
