New Year, Work calendar new. With the entry of 2019 begins a new course where each Spanish town will have 12 holidays to distribute during the total 365 days. Specifically, eight days are common national holidays for all of Spain; four are at the discretion of the autonomous communities; and two others are local, which will have to be selected by each municipality.

At national level, the holidays that all the autonomous communities share in the 2019 calendar are: Tuesday, January 1 (New Year), Friday, April 19 (Holy Friday), on Wednesday, May 1 (Labor Day), on Thursday, August 15 (Assumption of the Virgin of August), Saturday, October 12 (National Party of Spain), Friday, November 1 (all Saints Day), Friday, December 6 (Day of the Spanish Constitution) and the Wednesday, December 25 (Christmas).

Also, the different communities have been able to decide what to do with the days January 6th (Epiphany of the Lord, which falls on Sunday), on Tuesday, March 19 (Saint Joseph), on April 18 (Holy Thursday) or December 8th (Immaculate Conception, which falls on Sunday).
