In this year of the coronavirus pandemic, despite possible travel restrictions, many look at the work calendar to plan a nearby getaway or simply take a break in their city. This Saturday, August 15, the Assumption of the Virgin Mary is celebrated, a national holiday, and it is one of the “non-substitutable” holidays this year.

At the national level, there is still to be enjoyed various national holidays such as Monday, October 12 (National Holiday of Spain), Sunday, November 1 (All Saints’ Day), Sunday, December 6 (Spanish Constitution Day), and Tuesday, December 8 (Immaculate Day) ) and Wednesday December 25 (Christmas). To these days are added that of December 8, which this year falls on a Sunday, but which many communities have decided to transfer to Monday.
