Ceuta will keep the beaches closed despite entering phase 1 of the de-escalation

The Autonomous City of Ceuta will temporarily restrict access to the city’s beaches, despite its move to phase 1 tomorrow to avoid the accumulation of people in the city’s bathing centers.

The Follow-up Committee for the pandemic in Ceuta, which met this morning via videoconference, has decided that access to the beaches should continue to be restricted due to the risks that the accumulation of people entails for everyone’s health.

The Government Delegation agreed to restrict access to the beaches, although the Government chaired by Juan Jesús Vivas (PP) has started administrative procedures for the award of the different beach services such as lifeguard or beaconing.

In the city of Ceuta, you will only be able to access the beaches to go to the beach bars or to stroll at the time established by the lanes enabled for the practice of sports that exist, being totally prohibited from stepping on the sand, sunbathing or bathing.
