Celta: Tameiga rejects the shopping center that Celta wants to build
CelticTOThe comuneros are opposed in assembly to everything that is not sports area
ANDThe sports city model that Carlos Mourio wants for the Real Club Celta is still in the air.The idea of the president and maximum shareholder of the entity is to finance through the revenues of a commercial area, the construction of which will be new installations of the vigus club. But at least for now, that does not seem to be possible in Tameiga-Mos before the (ensimo) rejection of its neighbors.
A few days after the president announced a new land swap offer that Antonio Cajide, president of the comuneros, had already ruled in statements to MARCA, yesterday took place the assembly of that group that offered more than conclusive results.
And is that over a total of 253 attendees, 247 votes were contrary to the proposal of Celtic.Three abstentions and other favorable votes sum up the feeling of a parish that does not oppose to negotiate sport zone but that rejects the construction of everything else that Celta wants to consider it "something harmful for its mountains".
At a political level, the Celta seems to have only the support of the Popular Party since all the other municipal groups have publicly shown their disagreement. The possibility of a forced expropriation has been considered for a long time so that Mourio can continue with his plans; a risky political pirouette that in no case was carried out before the next municipal elections.
According to the initial design of the architects, the football fields of this sports city will be located in the parish of Pereiras with which the Celta arrived some time ago to an agreement. It has been announced that the start of the works is imminent; everything else will have to wait. And it may be for quite some time since a year ago, the disagreement is total between the entity of Balados and the community members of Tameiga.
