The president of Castilla-La Mancha, Emiliano García-Page, announced this Sunday, from Tarancón (Cuenca), that the regional government is going to declare the installation of an industrial plant for the manufacture of plasterboard in this city as a priority project . The company, of Italian origin, is Fassa Bortolo, and foresees the generation of 130 direct and 100 indirect jobs, in addition to 250 indirect jobs during the construction phase.

The head of the regional Executive made these statements this Sunday during his visit to the Tarancón Senior Center, where he took the opportunity to advance the construction of a new senior center with a day center in this same city, whose works will be awarded next year. As he explained, and given the magnitude of the project, the planned execution period is two years and has a budget of two million euros.

The future building doubles the capacity to serve the elderly in the Day Center.
