Canary Islands increases to 179 new cases of coronavirus and adds another death

In the last hours the death of a 69-year-old woman in Tenerife. This death is associated with a family outbreak, the victim remained admitted to the hospital and suffered from previous pathologies.

By islands, Tenerife Today there are 97 cases with a total of 24,077 accumulated cases and 1,196 epidemiologically active cases.

Gran canaria add 48 cases and have 22,337 accumulated and 519 assets.

In third place is Lanzarote, with 20 new cases, which increases the accumulated to 5,319. The island has 234 active infections.

La Palma reports nine new cases, so its accumulated are 554 and its assets are 17.

Fuerteventura scores five new cases, so it has 2,291 accumulated cases and 27 active ones.

El Hierro it does not add cases, standing at 371 accumulated and five assets.

By last, La GomeraIt also does not have new infected, so it has 233 accumulated and two assets.

The total of accumulated cases in the Canary Islands it is 55,183 with 2,000 assets (-133), of which 47 are admitted to ICU (-2) and 230 (-4) remain hospitalized.

The Accumulated Incidence at 7 days in the Canary Islands it is 40.12 cases per 100,000 inhabitants and at 14 days in 80.52 cases per 100,000 inhabitants.

To date, a total of 1,107,573 have been made PCR tests andn the Islands, of which 3,290 correspond to the last 24 hours.
