The campaign for the prevention of drowning Canary Islands 1500 Km of Coast has aroused the interest of the South American countries, which have had the opportunity to meet in the V International Aquatic Rescue Congress held in Argentina.
The author and promoter of this campaign, the Canarian journalist Sebastián Quintana, has presented Canary Islands 1500 Km of Coast in the different forums of the Congress, in which professionals, professors and researchers from the United States, Chile, Uruguay, Spain, Germany, as well as Argentina, among others, participate.
The media of Argentina have highlighted the value of the initiative taking into account the absence of campaigns to prevent water accidents throughout South America.
According to Quintana, some Argentine media have requested the periodic dissemination of the fifteen micro-spots One minute long, each one recorded in six languages, which includes the main recommendations in the face of risk situations that a swimmer can face.

Palacios pointed out that the Bahia de Banderas authorities have shown special interest in the English version of audiovisual production, since the vast majority of tourists from the metropolitan area of Puerto Vallarta come from the United States and Canada.
