Canarias registers two more deaths and 93 new infections



The Ministry of Health of the Government of the Canary Islands has registered two deaths this Wednesday by Covid-19, as well as 93 new infections in the last 24 hours.

Also, in the last 24 hours there have been 313 medical discharges and active cases drop to 5,827, a decrease of 222 compared to 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

Regarding the hospitalizations, have been placed in 191 in the ward and 42 in the ICU, a reduction of eight and two, respectively.

Since the beginning of the pandemic there have been 16,988 infections of covid-19 in the islands, of which 10,883 have been discharged and 278 have died.

In Tenerife 3,284 cases are active (30 more than 24 hours ago), in Gran Canaria 2,412 (256 less), in Lanzarote 71 (two more), in Fuerteventura 38 (one more), in La Gomera 10 (one less), in El Hierro 9 (one more) and on La Palma 2 (one more).
