The Ministry of Health of the Government of the Canary Islands has recorded 122 new infections by covid-19 in the last 24 hours, period in which no deaths have been registered and in which there have been 115 medical discharges, which leaves active cases in seven more than Saturday.

In total there are 6,632 active cases, 3,495 of them in Gran Canaria, 3,015 in Tenerife, 59 in Lanzarote, 40 in Fuerteventura, 12 in La Gomera, 6 in El Hierro and 4 in La Palma.

In the hospitals of the islands there are 271 patients, 51 of them in intensive care and 220 on the ward.

Since the beginning of the pandemic, the Canary Islands have 15,815 infected, of which 258 have died and 8,925 have received medical discharge
