The Ministry of Health of the Canary Islands Government has notified on friday 330 new infections and one death with Covid-19 in the last hours. The number of active cases continues to increase and stands at 8,255, of which 327 are hospitalized (+4) and 53 in ICU wards (+1).
The cumulative incidence in 7 days falls to 89.86 (-2.04) per 100,000 inhabitants and the incidence after 14 days increases to 188.68 (+4.18). The Islands add 32,943 accumulated cases of Covid since the beginning of the pandemic.
By Islands, Lanzarote, which has recently passed to phase 4, adds 112 new infections and reaches 978 active cases (+30). Gran Canaria has added 135 positives and one death, which leaves the balance in 151 deceased on the Island. Active cases also increased to 2,712 (+84).
Tenerife continues with its downward trend after adding 67 new cases and active cases (4,312) decreased after adding 149 new cases. Fuerteventura adds nine infections and reaches 224 active cases (+5).
El Hierro detects nine positives and adds 24 active cases (+5), while La Palma adds a contagion and reaches four active cases.
La Gomera, which was free of Covid yesterday, detects a new positive.
