The boats that represent RC Náutico de Arrecife and RC Náutico de Gran Canaria start among the favorites to win the second round of the Spanish Sailing League-Lottery and State Betting Trophy, an event organized by the Royal Spanish Federation of Candle.
The new episode of the event takes place in the cold waters of Bayonne, in Vigo, and takes place between today and Monday with the participation of a total of eleven boats.
After the first event of this new competition was held in the town of Calpe, Alicante, in the month of October, RC Náutico de Arrecife, which is the current champion, is located in the second position of the qualifying table, seven points from the leader, RC Náutico de Valencia. On this occasion, the Lanzarote team will have the participation of the Olympic medalist Roberto Molina, a gold medalist in Los Angeles 84.
For its part, RC Náutico de Gran Canaria, runner-up in 2019, arrives at the Galician event in third place in the standings, 13 points behind the first. The Gran Canaria team is once again led by Onán Barreiros, and has been reinforced with Jorge Martínez Doreste.
