Canarian choreographer Daniel Abreu adds three nominations for the Max Awards

The Tenerife choreographer and dancer Daniel Abreu has three nominations for the 24th edition of the Max de las Artes Awards, for his show El hijo, in the categories of Best dance show, Best choreography and Best male dance performer.

With a selection of 191 shows out of the 439 accepted to the contest, this is the phase prior to the final nominations of the finalists in the 20 categories, which will be decided by a panel made up of the three presidents of the territorial juries, four personalities of the Arts Scenic and a member of the Organizing Committee. Until next July 26, the mobile and online application #Vota Max is active, allowing fans of the performing arts to vote for their favorite candidate show for this edition. The show that gets the highest number of votes during this process will win the Max Audience Award, which will be presented at the XXIV Max Awards ceremony.

The Max Awards delivery gala will be held on October 4 at the Arriaga Theater in Bilbao with the collaboration of the Bilbao City Council, the Arriaga Theater in Bilbao and the INAEM. The ceremony will be broadcast on La 2 de TVE.

'The nudity'

For his part, Daniel Abreu, National Dance Prize in 2014, made a triplet in the 21st edition of the Max in 2018 for Nudity, which Abreu himself co-stars with the Gran Canaria dancer and choreographer Dácil González, and which became the great winner of the night with three awards for Best Dance Show, Best Male Dance Performer and Best Choreography.
