Among these “balanced changes”, the first vice president has mentioned in a general way the issues that are on the table of social dialogue on the labor reform: the reduction of contracts to reduce excessive temporality, the creation of a mechanism of stability and flexibility internal in companies (permanent ERTE), as well as the reform of subcontracting and the “modernization of collective bargaining”.

Sordo has hoped that “yes or yes” the labor legislation will be renewed in the coming weeks, in the sense of greater protection of workers. The labor reform must be ready in the BOE before December 31, as the Executive has committed to Brussels within the Recovery and Resilience Plan. Vice President Yolanda Díaz has given until November to take it to the Council of Ministers.
