As stated in the official agenda of the Generalitat, the meeting will be at 13:30 at the headquarters of the Ministry.
Knowledgeable sources consulted by Europa Press have explained that this is a first contact to address the general economic situation.
The meeting takes place with the negotiation of the General State Budgets as a backdrop: the Government seeks the support of the Catalan independence parties in Congress, but these reject for now any negotiation.
The vice president of the Government, Carmen Calvo, said last week that they are some accounts that "Catalonia will do very well", but the Government insists that, in order to negotiate, it wants first to have gestures with the sovereignist prisoners and self-determination.
Apart from the vice-president of the Govern, Aragonès is also the 'number three' of ERC, after the president Oriol Junqueras, who is in jail, and the general secretary, Marta Rovira, in Switzerland.
The same day that Aragonès will be with Calviño in Madrid, Junqueras will do it with the leader of Podemos, Pablo Iglesias, in the penitentiary center of Lledoners (Barcelona).
