This office is the second of the entity in the North American market after which it opened in New York in 2015 and adds to those already in other countries of the continent, such as Colombia, Peru, Brazil and Chile.
CaixaBank, which is promoting its internationalization strategy, which has accelerated in recent years, has also opened a representative office in Sydney (Australia) in 2018 and has obtained a license to operate as an operating branch in Paris (France).
From the new office, located in Bay Street, the financial center of Toronto, CaixaBank will offer accompaniment and advisory services in foreign trade, corporate banking and corporate banking to Spanish companies with interests and activities in Canada and to multinationals and Canadian companies operating in Canada.
