Cádiz extends its imposing return to Primera in Ipurua

He Cadiz got this friday his fourth away win of the season to extend his imposing return to the Santander League and to be at the top of the standings, provisionally, thanks to their victory against Eibar (0-2) with goals from Negredo and Salvi, both in just three minutes in the final stretch of the first part.

The yellow team continues to dream on their return to First Division and there is no end. That was how forceful it was in Ipurua, in the prologue of the eighth day, and where he extended his excellent streak away from Ramón de Carranza. His 15 points they predict a very calm season for Cádiz, who already has a third of the loot he needs for permanence.

Álvaro Cervera’s team was the clear example of effectiveness and he knocked down Eibar with two actions in the first half that ended up being definitive. Negredo was the author of the 0-1 after a measured center from Espino that came preceded by a possible foul on Diop. The goal at 36 minutes was a jug of cold water for gunsmiths after his good start.

The Eibarreses had more chances, but they did not enjoy the necessary success to compromise the Andalusian team. Bryan Gil was the best of the locals with several actions on the left wing and also Kike Garcia, Insatiable in the final meters, but none of them could beat Ledesma.

Three minutes after the first Cadiz crochet came the 0-2 that sank Eibar emotionally in another action with Diop as the protagonist. The Senegalese enabled Negredo with his error and he assisted Salvi on the right side so that he ended up defining with an unappealable shoe for Dmitrovic. Cádiz continued to impose its law.

In the second half, Eibar went for more, aware that they would have options to fight -at least- one point, but the duo formed by Cala and Fali, who already emerged victorious from Valdebebas, was once again vital for the Andalusians.

Exposito tried with a centered shot, but the scoreboard would no longer move, not even with the incessant rain of the final minutes. Those of Mendilibar, who have not yet won at home this seasona, will remain in the middle of the table.
