Cabify begins to operate from this Thursday with taxis in Madrid and Valencia

The mobility company Cabify will operate from Thursday with taxis in Madrid and Valencia, so that from the mobile application the user can hire this new service.

According to the president of Cabify in Europe, Mariano Silveyra, the company opens this new option with an initial offer that includes about 100 taxis in Madrid and approximately 10 in Valencia.

From now on, through the application of Cabify, users can also hire the taxi service in Madrid and Valencia, which adds to their services of rental vehicles with driver or motorcycles and electric scooters Movo in the case of Madrid.

Silveyra has indicated that Cabify "expects to grow and integrate new operators", while underlining that the company has already carried out a pilot program with approximately four taxis in Santander and, as has been assured, the average turnover of taxi drivers has grown more of 25% since they operate with the application.

The user will be able to access this new service gradually once the application is updated in the different operating systems.

Cabify will enable electronic payment as the one associated with its taxi category and will offer the user an estimate of the final price.

The forecast of the company is that when the regulation allows its full implementation, it also offers a closed price.

The global director of Cabify, Vicente Pascual, recalled that in January the company already advanced that they were working on integrating the taxi into its platform and, as he added, today they are "moving from words to deeds".

Cabify will keep active a specific web page in which it explains the advantages that it implies for a taxi driver to be integrated into the Cabify application and which can be written from this Thursday.
