The bill of the General State Budget of 2019 will be presented at the Congress of Deputies next Monday, January 14, at 10 o'clock in the morning, to begin its process.
The president of the Congress, Ana Pastor, has announced this Wednesday to the parliamentary media that this year's accounts will thus enter the lower house to begin its processing, once they have been approved this Friday in the Council of Ministers.
The Minister of Finance, María Jesús Montero, will deliver the budget bill to Pastor at 10.00 am, to later explain the content of the Budgets at a press conference.
Last year's Budget project was presented at the Cortes on a Tuesday, as has been usual in previous years, while this year's accounts will be presented on a Monday.
On the same day, the Board of Congress and the Board of Spokesmen will meet to rate the Budgets and establish the processing schedule, which usually lasts for a month and a half.
The Bureau of the Congress will be the one who decides to close the deadlines for the presentation of amendments to the whole, partial amendments and the celebration of appearances, as well as the anticipation of debate and voting in the Plenary Session of the Congress.
